(Entrance "A") Picnic Shelter Number 5. Drive in the main entrance straight back past the "mountain bike parking lot" (on the left), tennis courts (on the right), after the 4 way stop sign go over the bridge and up the hill, first street on your right (turn right) and the staging area ⁄ start finish will take place in this area (same as last year – all the way at the back – picnic shelter number 5).

Here´s the skinny… we are using a "point system" to reward and separate the top finishers from the pack – this point system is similar
to a NASCAR points system or possibly other "points series races" around the way in mountain biking or other similar athletic events. The Dirty Spokes
Endurance points race series will be tracked ⁄ recorded by our staff throughout the 2011 calendar – In order to qualify for the Endurance Championship
you ⁄ your team must enter a minimum of 3 of the 5 events. You may race as a solo rider or as a team - you may race the 6 hour races or the 12 hour races
(in order to quality for Endurance Championship Points Series you must race in at least 3 of 5 races in the SAME discipline ⁄ category ⁄ teams must
consist of the same people no alternates). The points you win from these races will follow you in whichever route you and or your team chooses (12 or 6 hour series).
Any 6 hour race points you earn may be moved "up" to qualify in the 12 hour series - 12 hour race points you earn MAY NOT be moved "down"
(if you move down from 12 hour race to a 6 hour race you may not transfer these points). If there is a tie at the end of the series in any category we will
determine winner by most laps – if there is still a tie we will determine winner by most laps then fastest overall time (Series Finale Course ⁄ Race)
– if there is still a tie we will determine winner by rock, paper, scissors!
