GPS data): Click here for GPS Data
(trying to set it up so the lap times are inside an hour per lap)... Course will consist
of 90% outer loop (no monster mile or horseshoe drop, bypass 3 step hill, creek crossing

off the granite bottom – please still use caution going through this section).

9⁄6 HOUR POINT SERIES RULES ⁄ INFORMATION
Dirty Spokes is excited to be part of the Chain Buster Endurance Points Series again this year. We will be race number 3 of a 6 race series (Fort Yargo State Park, Winder, Ga.). We will also be Co-Hosting the Series Finale with Chain Buster at Oak Mountain State Park, Birmingham, Alabama! We will be using a point system to reward and separate the top finishers from the pack. The Endurance Points Series will be tracked⁄recorded by Chain Buster staff throughout the 2011 calendar. In order to qualify for the Endurance Championship Points Series; solo 9⁄6 riders must race a minimum 5 out of 6 race events (two⁄three man teams to qualify must race in a minimum 5 out of 6 race events). You may race as a solo rider or as a team – you may race the 6 hour races or the 9 hour races (in order to qualify for Endurance Championship Points Series you must race in at least 5 of 6 races in the same discipline⁄category⁄teams – must consist of the same people no alternates). The points you win from these races will follow you in whichever route you and or your team chooses (9 or 6 hour series). At the end of the series if you have raced a minimim of 5 out of 6 races to qualify for the series we will then drop your worst race. Any 6 hour race points you earn may be moved up to qualify in the 9 hour series – 9 hour race points you earn may not be moved down (if you move down from 9 hour race to a 6 hour race you may not transfer these points). If there is a tie at the end of the series in any category we will determine winner by most over all laps completed in the series– if there is still a tie we will determine winner by most laps completed at the series finale. If there is still a tie then fastest overall time at the series finale.

9⁄6 HOUR RACE TIMING NEWS - CHECK IT OUT!
Timing for the Dirty Spokes Race... we have purchased the RFID Timing System (www.rfidtiming.com) and will be doing "chip timing" for all of our races this year! That´s right for the Dirty Spokes 9⁄6 hour mountain bike races, XTERRA Georgia Trail Running Races and the Dirty Spokes Duathlon we will be using "chip timing" for each of these races. Same as always in the "team events ⁄ races" each team will have their own timing chip (2 ⁄ 4 person teams will have 1 chip and it will serve as a "baton"). We will hand these "chips" out at the registration table and will collect them back at the end of the races... FOR ANY CHIP THAT IS LOST ⁄ NOT RETURNED AFTER THE RACE YOU WILL BE BILLED $35.00
