The first 9 miles is double track – about 4–5 feet wide and a very smooth running surface – minimal roots and rocks), after 9 miles we will tap into the sweet single track trails! This course will be run in a counter clockwise direction (we will start behind the restrooms next to the parking lot and finish at the covered pavilion). If you have ever debated about trying a trail race half this one is a great starter! Course running surface is very smooth and easy to navigate... The course is beautiful and offers something for every runner truly wishing to "ditch the city".
